General considerations and scope

Legal owners of internet portalwww.elegante.lk, a fashion online store will offer it’s customers a variety of their products to be purchased online. The offering on this site is only directed at end users of legal age. Goods will only be sold in normal household quantities. These terms and conditions find application in all contracts which members enter into via www.elegante.lk as well as all general business relationships between Eleganté and its customers. We do not accept any other terms and conditions unless explicitly stated otherwise. If periods are stated in working days, these include all weekdays except Saturday and Sunday and all statutory holidays.

As part of the registration as a customer of you will be asked to submit personal data. You are responsible for ensuring that the data is complete and correct. After you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation of your registration by email. To facilitate access to the online service on elegante.lk, you will receive a password. You are obliged to treat this password and any other access data confidential and protected from access by unauthorized third parties.

In the password protected area you can access your recently shipped and/or completed orders. In this area you can also change, administer and save your own data and potential subscriptions of newsletters.

Prices and shipping fees

For orders the prices which are listed at the time of your order on the product page apply. These prices are exclusive of taxes and the final price (inclusive of taxes) are shown in the shopping cart page.

We accepts various credit cards and virtual wallets( e.g. Visa, American Express, Master) for payments and will charge the invoice value to your credit card/ or virtual wallet immediately after receipt and dispatch of the order.

Gift vouchers, Gifting, Points earned and Promotion codes

  • Vouchers are only valid for the period announced at issue or a maximum of 1 year from the time of issuance. An extension is not possible.

  • Vouchers are non-transferable to cash or any other modes other than a purchasing at www.elegante.lk

  • Voucher code could be gifted to any user and redeem for purchases at www.elegante.lk

  • Any balance available in the voucher after redeeming will not be refunded in cash or to é points. We encourage you to use the maximum amount of the voucher for a purchasing.

  • You can select gifting for purchases you made for others and cash on delivery option is not available for such purchases.

  • Select the delivery details of the recipient correctly along with the purchasers details

  • Any exchanges on gifting could be arranged by contacting us via any mode as explained in the exchange policy

  • Points earned in the é Point scheme is valid for 6 months and will expire there after

  • Discounts received via promotion codes will be expired after the stipulated time period.

Data security

  • As part of your registration as a customer on elegante.lk you will be asked to provide personal data. This is data which is required by us to process the contracts concluded on www.elegante.lk. All personal data is confidential and will be treated by us in accordance with relevant legal regulations. To safeguard your privacy in online payment transactions elegante.lk uses the latest encryption techniques through our payment gateways.

Image rights

  • All rights to use imagery on elegante.lk lie with the promoters. The use of the material - in whatever form - is prohibited unless explicit permission from business owners has been granted.

Delivery & return

  • We usually deliver within 3-5 working days of placement of the order. For orders with multiple items and different delivery times, the longest delivery time applies.

  • We would like you to have complete peace of mind when buying products from www.elegante.lk. You can return all items within 7days of receipt for a full refund of the item purchased. The refund amount will be credited back to your Elegantéaccount asé points.

  • In case of manufacturing defect with the item, it can be returned to us within 7 days of receipt and you will be refunded after the items have been inspected by us. if reverse pickup is unsuccessful after three attempts or more than two weeks after pickup was initiated for the first time, the refund request will be cancelled. Similarly if the product is self-shipped, and has not been dispatch from consumer after two weeks of refund initiation, refund request will be cancelled.

  • Within the first 14 days of receipt we will accept all returns except those deemed to have been damaged by the customers themselves outside of normal everyday use.

  • Please do take care that you pack items securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit and with all original packaging (tags etc.). For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you use a reliable courier service.

  • Once your return is received by us, the refund is subject to your return having met the requirements of being undamaged and dispatched by you within 14 days.

  • You can inform us within 14 days of receiving the parcel by writing to us at online@elegante.lk Please make sure that the items are securely packed and handed to our pick-up person.

  • We will arrange a reverse pickup once for an exchange or refund for an order. Any reverse shipment charges other than the one time will be borne by the customer.

  • Please note that shipping charges will not be reimbursed.
